Miley ber om ursäkt!

''Hi to all of my fans in the UK, I am so sorry that I was unable to fly to London to be with you all in person at the European premiere of THE LAST SONG, especially as the event is in aid of such a great cause, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets to support the appeal to raise money to redevelop the hospital, your contribution means a lot.

THE LAST SONG is a really important movie to me. It’s a story about family, about first loves, second chances and the moments that lead you back home. I know that Liam and our director Julie Ann Robinson are also really disappointed not to be in London with you, especially since Julie Anne has such close ties with the UK and has lots of her friends and family there.

The Last Song still going strong

Third place went to the animated kid flick How to Train Your Dragon. While the Dreamworks Animated film opened below many expectations, it has held on quite well in the subsequent weeks. Grossing $25.3 million with a remarkably small 13 percent drop, the Jay Baruchel-voiced flick has now earned $133.9 million after three weekends in theaters. Spot four goes to Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too, which is also in a horse race for the frame against Miley Cyrus’ romance Last Song. Estimates give the advantage to Perry, with Lionsgate reporting an $11 million gross. That figure represents a steep 62 percent fall for the Janet Jackson-starring sequel, putting its two-week take at $48.5 million. Cyrus walked away with another $10 million for her second weekend in theaters. The PG-rated film, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, fell only 37 percent, putting its cume at $42.4 million in two weekends in theaters.


Spot 10 was the only other surprise of the frame. It belonged to the Christian-themed Letters to God, which only opened in 895 theaters. Still, the film managed to land in the top 10, with a weekend take of $1.1 million. The overall box office was down a bit compared to last year at this time, when Miley Cyrus dominated Easter weekend with her feature film Hannah Montana. 'The Last Song' tops daily boxoffice rankings

Disney's Miley Cyrus starrer "The Last Song" hit all the right notes in its first day of domestic release on Wednesday in fetching an estimated $5.1 million to top the daily boxoffice rankings.

With a base of support among the topliner's tween female fans, "Song" always figured to be front-loaded in its five-day opening run. But its first-day tally was a bit better than anticipated, suggesting cumulative boxoffice of $20 million or more through Sunday.

"The whole idea of opening on a Wednesday was to try to set ourselves apart from the competition," Disney distribution boss Chuck Viane said. "There are a lot of big pictures out there, and the only way to get noticed is to get out there and strut your stuff."

The midweek bow also gave "Song" a jump on the Easter frame. Many students will enjoy a stretched weekend, and that should pump up grosses through Friday.

Elsewhere this session, Warner Bros. bows 3D action fantasy "Clash of the Titans" on Thursday night, and Lionsgate debuts Tyler Perry's "Why Did I get Married Too?" on Friday.

Both are expected to open well, with "Titans" likely to ring up more than $60 million through Sunday, and "Married Too" targeting $25 million or more. So with "Song" scooping much of its boxoffice cream off the top prior to the weekend and a big sophomore session likely for Paramount-distributed "How to Train Your Dragon," the Cyrus pic will be unlikely to figure among the medal positions this weekend.

Family Bond - ny film?

Jag märkte att IMDb har lagt till en ny film på Mileys sida, Family Bond. Nu vet jag att allt som finns på IMDb inte är 100% säkert. Men, det är alltid 90% säkert. Dom har aldrig haft fel när det kommer till Mileys filmer, Miley har ju själv sagt att hon har en del filmer på g nu. Och att en av dom är action. Och om man ska gå efter namnet så låter ju Family Bond som en actionfilm möter komedi.
Man vet ju aldrig, vi får helt enkelt vänta på ett bekräftande ifrån Mileys sida.

Sure it helps to be good looking, but if a guy really wants to win the heart of teen star Miley Cyrus, he needs to embrace the entire Cyrus clan.

“My parents are a little loco,” admits Cyrus, 17, at the press conference for her upcoming drama The Last Song.
“We have five [kids] and my mom and my dad and my grandma plus like my 10,000 dogs – so if you love me after you see my lifestyle then you’re good. You’re a keeper.”

That’s what she considers her costar and real-life boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, 20, who she realized was more than a costar when she found herself playing “stupid” games.

“I think when you’re trying to play it cool and you’re like, ‘Oh, I won’t text back for like the next hour,’ that’s when you know it’s more serious,” says Cyrus.
“You have no idea how many times I was like, ‘Oh he called. I’m not going to call back
tomorrow.’ When it gets confusing and you’re over thinking it, you must really like someone.”

One thing Miley is so over? The Twitter-verse, which she quit last fall and has no plans of joining again soon.

“I’m a lot less on my phone. I’m a little bit more social,” she says. “I have real friends as opposed to friends on the internet that I’m talking to which is not cool, not safe, not fun – and most likely not real.”

And she’s encouraging those around her to detach from social media too. “I feel like I hang out with my friends and they’re so busy taking pictures of what they’re doing to post on Facebook and not really enjoying what they’re doing,” Cyrus says. “I think just enjoy

Stjärnorna i Dear John (Amanda Seyfried & Channing Tatum), fick frågan:
''What would have happened if the movies had opened on the same weekend?''
Amandas svar:
"If The Last Song was coming out the same weekend as Dear John, we'd have to collaborate on some sort of sabotage mission."

Tur att dom inte hade premiär samma vecka då, Dear John hade premiär i fredags.
Och drog in hela 13.8 miljoner dollar, och kommer antagligen slå ner Avatar ifrån första platsen, på The Box Office.
